My NEW OCHRE ride!! (pictures)

I just got home with my new driver, a OCHRE 72' Custom/10 p/u! It has a 350 4-speed, factory a/c, p/b, p/s, etc. It has some rust, but the motor is very strong. I payed $900.00, I would like some feedback. Enjoy the pics

very nice.. I'm biased, because it looks pretty much like mine, but I really think this is the classiest color scheme for this series truck. The single color and minimal trim fits well with the smooth and clean attitude of the body design. Plus, you certainly wouldn't mistake it for any other era, and if it matters, early 70's colors are very cool right now.

How do you feel about the mirrors? I've always been partial to the look of the small mirrors, though they're a little bit less practical. You know the guy who drew up the orginal design, who worried over how the curves should flow just so, must have flipped out when he found out they were going to bolt those large mirrors and struts on his baby.

Does anyone know anything about the design team for the 67-72 series by the way?

Also you got a much better deal than I did.

GREAT DEAL!! That's a sweet list of options. What's the silver thing on the bottom under the doors/feners? Some kind of rock deflector?

Mirrors,it`s a truck thing.I really like the way the truck was optioned. It`s very practicle,no BS.It was probably special ordered by someone that knew what he wanted and didn`t want anything more,a real truck guy.

The silver thing under the door was a previous owners rust fix. He slapped a piece of tin over the rocker and cab corner on each side. Thanks for all the comments so far.
