Post Different Types of Exhaust Manifolds?

What are the different types of exhaust manifolds (ram horn, etc)? Why are some angled and some straight? Which ones go with which truck or motor?

There is an infinite number of exhaust manifolds, but I ASSUME you just mean for these trucks. To narrow it down to two, the two wheel drive trucks came with angled and the 4x4s with straight. Corvettes have the straight dumps as well. Some are 2" outlet some are 2.5" The trucks are 2" outlet, straight or curved.

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.

I have seen ram horn exhaust manifolds for sale, one is straight dump and one is an angle dump. Why is this? Do 4x4 models have two straight dump manifolds and are they required for clearance?

What year Corvette manifolds are ya'll running? What about AC and altenator mounts? Are they the same as the truck manifolds?

Erl, My 70 K25 has straight dump ramhorns both sides, 2" exit. I had an 85 K5 that had straight dump on the left and angled on the right(w/ heat riser valve) I believe the straight on the left was to clear the tranny linkeage off of the steering column.
Lap, I'm going to order 1962 vette ramhorns, $86 each. Both sides have mounts that personally I will not need and will cut off. I have no AC and altenator does not mount with exhaust manifold. I'll add the url for the site when I find it.
