New from northern Minnesota

Hi folks,
I am the proud owner of a 67 GMC that I have been working on (off and on) for 7 years. I am 42 years old and just this summer retired from law enforcment and started school as an auto body technician. I have since finished shaving the door handles, filling the gas filler hole, replacing the rockers, cab corners and one cab support. I filled the seam between the roof and back of the cab, sand blasted everything, etched, primed, and undercoated the cab. The fenders are done along with the hood. I cut the frame from a long bed to a short and have now traded for an 80 stepside bed from Oklahoma. I will be going to OK in a couple of weeks and hope to have the rest of the body done after Christmas.

Jim

Unless you want to see pictures of the many pieces, you'll have to wait. It is currently down to the frame (which I have shortened) and in our shop. I do however have many photos of the pieces.

Re: New from northern Minnesota

Welcome, I lived in Hackensack MN which is 50 miles south of Bemidji which would have made us almost neighbors at one time. Now I'm in southern AZ

This is a great board, again, welcome.
