The best vacation a c-10 lover can take

Hey fellow owners, I am in California till monday-tuesday and I got to say that I never appreciated the state until I left. This is the most awesome place to treasure hunt for c-10 parts at your local pick and pull as well as other places, (weekend swapmeets all over and local periodicals) Pick and pull have rust free parts for so dirt cheap its worth getting gas miser mini pickup and trailer and coming out and shop for parts. one pick and pull location alone had 6 c10s 2-67s 1-68 and 3 71-72s all with quite a few parts on them, front sheetmetal hoods radiator supports and all types of electrical and mech parts. Fenders are just 35.00 and hoods the same. I was so thrilled I bought a mitsubishi mini out here and I'm taking a bunch of stuff with me back to colorado. Not to mention I found a guy selling a front roll pan for only 50 bucks going to get that this morning. I'm in heaven Take care everyone

I know.It would be a perfect vacation to cruise the junkyards and scope trucks...alone.At night I could always drink beer and fall asleepin the rent-a-car.

I built my house out of c-10s. Yes, CA is the place to shop junkyards. I try to shop the yards at least 3-5 times a year here in Norcal. I would be the yards you hit are in So Cal?

Hey everyone sorry not fortunate enough to have a computer access all the time in while I'm out here I have a few pics that I took when I was at the pick and pull self service junkyard this one is in Richmond Ca and they had quite a few 67-72s here are a few. I went back a picked up a couple of 67-68 grilles.
