Unique '68 for sale (not mine)

I've been on the road for a few days in Western Montana and saw quite a few '67 - '72 trucks for sale along the road sides.

The most unique one was a '68 two wheel drive. Its got a step side long box with wood bed, straight six and factory air. I've never seen a six with factory air and I've only seen one or two step side long boxes. I opened the hood and everything's there except the compressor, you could see where the hoses were cut going into the evaporator. The body was in pretty nice shape for this type of truck, with a few dings and very little rust. The wood was even in decent shape. Kind of a cool truck. Its just outside of Missoula off of I-90. If you can't live without it, please call 549-6645. He's asking $1,800 obo.

I also saw a '68 short box step side for $3,500 that didn't look too nice. Couldn't get a phone number, but its just East of Missoula on the North side of I-90. I could see the price but not the phone number while going 85 trying to get home last night.

Also saw many '68s while going through the Flathead Reservation south of Polson, lots of them. Also quite a few large trucks in the '67 - '68 range, like the 3 to 5 ton range. I wish I knew more about them, cuz I see lots of them around here.

mtdave,

Its actually been raining around here for the last few months and it came down hard in Polson/Missoula last night. We even have snow in the mountains. Amazing compared to the last few years. C'mon back up!
