Smile Windshield time

Put 1000 miles on the Blazer on Friday, from 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, then put 650 miles on Sat and 650 miles on Sun. Went to Princeton,ILL on Friday, returned home, then to Divide,CO on Sat. What a trip!! Friday was beautiful and went perfect, Saturday was a day from hell.Picked up a 78 T-bird in Ill, buddy drove a 89 3/4 conversion van with a trailer. Made it 50 miles from home on Sat and the trans went out of the van. Loaded the van on the trailer, drove the Bird and away we go. Fuel filter in the T Bird goes bad near McCook,NE,stopped at Walmart to replace it, was screwing it it in, then broke the stem off in the carb.Found a NAPA and an easy out, replaced it and off we go. It's 99 degrees and the rabbits we were also hauling started to die. Made it to Limon,co the weather cools down and some idiot starts to pass before the crest of a hill! A car comes, the idiot takes one shoulder, I take the other and the oncoming car tkaes the middle. I didn't have enough fingers to display!!! Finally made it there at 10:00 PM. The Blaze did well pulling such a load. I think I need to write a book about all the crazy things that have happened while out on the road. Sorry for the length , just had to vent a bit.
