nice truck. What size tires are you running? I am assuming those are 15 inch rims?

They're 31's. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of the tires but they are 15 inch rims.

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm working through some bugs with it though. I've never seen a QJet carb without idle screws, but this one has. It's sucking in too much air and dumping too much gas. To counter this, I think the previous owner boogered up the timing so he could drive it. It diesels a bit (i think it's because of the high idling and timing too advanced), and yesterday the coolant wanted to boil.

Once i get this straight, i'll be on my way.

Re: My 86 C-10

Timing to high will cause dieseling and running hot. And Welcome! Nice truck for sure. Your carb might have it's idle screws covered with plugs. You have to remove it, flip it over, and cut the plugs out. Usually done with a hack saw at a 45 degree angle next to the plugs. Then just knock them out.
