Arrow T case skidplate?

I just bought a tranny,t case, crossmember, and second crossmember and a skidplate for a np205 for my swb 4x4 out of a wrecked blazer. Was the np205 skidplate only for the blazers and are they rare?
If anyone had some pics of how they mounted I would greatly appreciate it if you would post them.

Re: T case skidplate?

The skid plate isn't really rare, but they are desireable. It certainly wasn't a standard item. Judging by reading about board members that have skid plates, I'd guess about half of the Blazers had them. I don't know if they were used on the PU's too. I don't see why they wouldn't work on a truck (if they didn't come with them).

I'll check my picture stock when I get to my other computer to see if I have any pics of my skid plate.

Re: T case skidplate?

Thanks guys.Craig, those pics look like what I have except mine is covered in grease.I guess now that I know how it mounts I can put it on my truck. It doesnt have the holes for the second crossmember in the frame so either none of the trucks had them or mine wasnt ordered with it.A drill can take care of that problem though.

Re: T case skidplate?

Craig, your skidplate isnt mounted because it doesnt have the holes in the frame? I just looked and there was no holes for one in my truck frame.I just took a few brief pics of the skidplate assembly.

Re: T case skidplate?

I have the holes and the bolts still in them but no skid plate, I just bought the blazer two months ago and love it, no hard top just a soft top. I will post pictures as soon as I get them off my work computer.
