Re: Tuning a Carter/Edelbrock Carb

My Carter is set about 2 1/2 turns out. I did one screw at a time, engine warm at idle. Screw it in until it starts to bog, then back out a half turn. Both are nearly the same and it runs like a champ.

I am running a 625 AFB on an Edelbrock Performer dual plane. Not sure of the model number.
