My 68 has them also.
I have noticed that alot of people will take them off and fill the holes before they paint or if they replace or reskin the doors they opt to leave them off rather than drill the holes.
Personally I like the looks of them.

Your truck is a show truck in my opinion.
A very desirable model of a very desirable truck.

Got another question here.
If my truck is a real "Custom" would it not have A/C?
My truck seems pretty bare as far as options, but this is m first truck and I don't know very much about old trucks.

Thansk again Guys!!

Custom was a exterior trim and interior "comfort" option (two different custom options in '67) that didn't include A/C. If you check your glove box you'll see a Z62 (or was it Z61?) option listing as Custom Group. I'm sure someone can list all the niceties it brings...

All the way up to the CST, the packages were not much more than small things and bright work.

You guys are good!

I have 3/4s of the sticker in my glove box and sure enough it has 4Z61AL Custom group option. I never thought to look there.

That would of been to easy, I always seem to find things out the hard way.

Here is the interior of the truck, not much to it. In fact, I just added courtsey lights and hooked the brake light to the emergency brake so I won't be driving with the emergency brake on any more.

I tried that Gee Emm, at the time I noticed and wanted to change. There was no edit option at the bottom, not sure why, but when I got out several people had already viewed, so thinking that had something to do with it, but thanks for the advice!
