My Dually Project

Hey,I just wanted to show some pics of my 72 1 ton dually,it was in a barn for 10 years or so.I've had about 3 years, hotrodmtodd had it for 1 year or so.Then I got it back off of him by horse trading.Anyhow it has the orginal drive train,350 4 bbl,4 speed tranny,I don't what gears are in it.Its lowered in the front 2in and the rear 4in.The chrome rims came from hotrodmtodd.I bought the center caps and lugnuts from ebay. The paint was put on with a roller and wet sanded and buffed.

Great looking dually!! You look younger than most of the board members.

Great looking project you have. I spent a lot of time when I grew up at my grandmothers farm in Washington (lil Washington we called it).

That`s a sweet cruiser. You don`t see those chrome Budds anymore.Never did see them Back East, much at all. They look 10x better than simulators. What mirrors are you using?I had the Sr.West Coasts chromed on my`70 1 ton I had.

Re: My Dually Project

For the mirrors I have to go with something small.Right now the flatbed rubs against the rubber weather stripping on the sides of my garage door opening.I have the big west coast type, but I would never be able to get out of the garage.I would have been totaly jacked if I would have put them on,then figured I can't get my truck out.
