Umm....
Confusus say....One who runs tach wire near auto shifter and wonder why truck die after shifting is dumb a$$!!!!
Moral of story....dont run wires near your shifter linkage...grabby little snot....shorted it right out, and truck died...like instantly. I'm here for the team.....

LOL, been there before. My truck actually kept running long enough to get it home. The tach, radio and a few other small things were tied into the ign feed. One wire fell in the way of my clutch pedal and got creamed. Tach was going crazy, radio died, dash lights flashed and truck was not running happy at all.
That was 2 days before re-wiring the whole under dash. CoryM

I had a loose hotwire bounce onto my throttle cable once.......burned the cable into the housing at about 3/4 throttle!!!!.......talk about a long drive home.
