Project N2Deep

As in too deep to stop now!

My 72 project has been on hold for awhile so I figured that if I started a build thread it might motivate me!

Current Mods:

Devious Customs 3-link
ART Strong Arms
Firestone bags (F/R)
Shaved drip rails, Door handles, locks, cowl, cab pinch welds, cab seam line, dash and firewall
One-piece windows
Custom wheel wells (f) and hinges
67 front clip
All body gaps reworked (1/4")
CPP cross drilled brakes (F/R)
CPP drop spindles
Eaton posi
Intro Vista 20x8 (f) 22x10 (r) wheels
Edelbrock 430hp polished crate motor
Bowtie overdrives stage II 700R4

I figure I'm about half way done

I want to get the bed back on and have it tubbed
and install the drivetrain.

This weekend I installed the bumper on the 72 and bagged the front of my 55 Belair with Art Shockwaves, ART tubular control arms and drop spindles.

More to come!!!

[QUOTE=randomhero472;2230469]do you plan on painting 2deep black also? niice 55, but why no A/C, looks hot where you live[/Q

I'm thinking of a 2-tone silver/? on the 72 and a red or black interior. No stereo or A/C in this one. I don't have either in the 55 (just listen to the Big Block with the windows down). I am a MST splicer for At&t, so I'm outside every day and the heat doesn't bother me. Plus I just spent all my money on the new house and the kids want a pool. Long story short-I have to go basic on this truck if I'm ever going to finish it (I wanted to go with a Porter Built dropmember, but at this point I just want to put it together and drive it!)

No it's not

Not when you're sitting still in traffic for an hour when it's humid and 98 degrees out and there's no breeze

When I lived in NY I never owned a vehicle with A/C, it was only "stupid hot" maybe one week a year. Here is SC, It can be "stupid hot" for like 4 months. In SC A/C is not only a nice bonus, but a necessity

VERY NICE RIDES! I love the '55.

Re: Project N2Deep

Nice rides AC or not. If I had thoes rides I wouldn't care about AC. My AC has never worked in my 72 and it never kept me from driving it in Houston in the middle of summer. I love that truck!!
