6 Lug Rally Wheels

Well I am attempting to get the white wagon wheels off my 70 stepside! Enclosed are pics of my first two rims, the other two are lost via fed ex. Guy I purchased from on ebay will not answer my emails so I have to file a claim with paypal.... Hopefully I can find two more rims and some center cap decals to cover the 4 x4 symbol. I got 4 new caps but they say 4x4....

I hope they show up. I have the same caps on my '69, but they have a bowtie on them.

Re: 6 Lug Rally Wheels

Well, I thought they would have shown up better than that. That is the closest shot I have of the wheels.

Re: 6 Lug Rally Wheels

has any one tried newer centers on these older rallys like off a 2000 or newer, when you need the threads on the outside of the lugnuts to hold them on, that is what i was thinking of doing,

I did this on my Z71. It worked out great, and the older wheels look good on a newer truck, IMO.

If you don't mind, were did you get the center caps? Are they aluminum like original or plastic?

I want to replace mine as they are all "front" 4X4 caps with a crappy insert and spinners to cover it all up. Well, three of them still have spinners and one has the hole were there used to be a spinner.

That is a great price compared to Stockton Wheel. I am running the same set up on my 69. Let us know what you do about the 4x4 sticker.

Re: 6 Lug Rally Wheels

I like these centers. They bolt in from behind and still use chrome lug nuts.

I have a question, are those the only type of center caps that fit on that ralleye wheel, or can you fit something else on there?

Re: 6 Lug Rally Wheels

If you cannot find decals for your cap's perhaps give a company like "Trim Line" or a sign shop a try that details cars. They do graphics for signs and automobiles.

esll.

Here are a few decals I had made up at a local sign shop, they are made out of fade resistant vinyl (company stated?), I had them made in two diameter's for both 5/6 lug type rally caps. The faces of them look dull in the pic, but that is just the protective facing material to be removed after you get them installed. Cb
