Joshua:
Check on the 6066GMCguy.org discussion group. I am sure one of the guys on there will have the air cleaner you are looking for.

283 man - thanks, but GMC is a whole different animal. They use a different carb than Chevy and it mounts totally different.

Steve - I'll check into the GMC board. Thanks.

Re: WTB GMC air cleaner V-6

Anyone have any pics? (Of the V6 cleaner) and/or

Is there a different offset one (to clear the brake booster in the I6's) than a chevy one?

Re: WTB GMC air cleaner V-6

Luvlegs, he's talking about a V-6. The aircleaner sits on top of the engine dead-center like a V-8 so brake booster interfearance would not be an issue.

Joshua, would one from a 1967 suit your needs??

Re: WTB GMC air cleaner V-6

I have one from a 63 305-kinda looks like an inverted cake dish. It's greasy, but complete. $35, I'll ship. Contact me offline if you need a picture. Also have the carb if anyone needs it, from a running truck. Same deal, unless you're WAY far off. Jeff

Re: WTB GMC air cleaner V-6

Thanks for your replys. The one I'm needing is off a Stromberg carburator that was found on GMC's. They have a clamp that holds the carb and breather together and has a threaded rod made into it for wingnut. The Stromberg carbs do not have a place for the threaded rod to screw into so this clamp is a must! Jeff, Ross - Do your sets ups have this clamp and are they for 2 barrel? Thanks.

Re: WTB GMC air cleaner V-6

I DO have the correct one, with the clamp. I'm thinking I'd like to sell them as a set, if I can. I heard this truck run within the last year, so I know they're good. Filthy, but good. LOL
