Newbie in San Diego..

Just bought a 70 chevy C10 longbed a couple weeks ago. Got for really cheap cause motor didn't run and dude wanted to get rid of it. So I knew I had some work ahead of me. Once I got it started and heard the loudest and nastiest rod knocking and metal scraping noise I knew the motor was really gone. I bought another 350 that was used and have just finished installing the motor last weekend. I had to add an electric fuel pump and have to finish up some electrical wiring and small stuff to get it fired up. I'll get some pics up in a few. It's flat black right now, but the body is in not to bad shape. No major rust that I can see but definitely needs body work. Will keep updated as I go though.
