A little Progress
When we started the install of the rear we noticed a problem. We'll my buddie Shane noticed I had cut the ds front links 3/4" to long. When he pulled the 133" wheel base for the install of the rear is what brought it our his attention. So that was fixed and the rear welded in. The next problem was fitting the MRT threee piece wheels on the hub. The went smooth after 2hours of grinding the hub down.

Re: A little Progress
Are your front links bolted in single shear at the axle?
No suspension in the rear? Got to be a fun ride... |

Re: A little Progress
Yes, the bars work more as ladders. The front will only move 3"-4" vert. controled by limit straps and bags.
As for the rear, the use of suspension is a non-issue. Trying to carry/pull 20klbs+ w/ any kind of rear spring is not possiable. This makes the set up of hitch angle & length important, followed up by front suspensioin and weight distance.

Re: A little Progress
I agree, a single shear would be nuts on high lift, mudtruck, rock crawler etc... driving around the pits w/o suspension feels like driving on railroad tracks. you can feel every lug on the tire

Re: A little Progress
Road trip is only 300' so the ride would be worth a few little bumps.
