Rear Swaybar For My 48 Gmc Panel?

Currently have TCI front suspension, Leaf rear with a 57 Ford 9-inch about 57 wide to accomodate the 10 inch rear rims. Thinking about a purchasing a BROTHERS rear sway bar ($250) ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I guess he had one for a Chevy, is it the right width
,does it come with poly bushings, how much fab work do you have to do?
I have been looking at his 4-Bar set up.

Sometimes it is cheaper to go to the manufacture than the Re-boxer, I wonder who Brothers buys theirs from?

Re: Rear Swaybar For My 48 Gmc Panel?

But, hey, it gives me a chance to do a couple of other things. I built this truck in 98-99. and actually used it for my Delivery Service in Eugene. It just turned 70k on its most recent life. For about three years it was my only delivery vehicle for me to personally drive and I logged over 50k.
SO anyway, updating it by replacing the wheels with 17 & 18 Foose, gonna drop the back 2 inches, pulling aluminum wheels and aluminum Briz bimpers,--replacing both with chrome. Just give it a new look without re-doing the whole truck.

Re: Rear Swaybar For My 48 Gmc Panel?

I think you might need to drive through Pleasant Hill and tell me if it still exists. Just East of Eugene. You know where it is. The Butte used to be a great walk on the 4th of July. Does it still work or has it been contaminated? My memory fails me. Spencer's? Skinner's? The tall one on the South end. You know. David

P HILL? Drove through tonite, Bermuda Triangle--my truck ran out of gas--right after I filled it up! Spencers South, Skinners, down by the riverside.

Re: Rear Swaybar For My 48 Gmc Panel?

Had to cancel the swaybar. I had the truck on my hoist yesterday and realized that my extra gas tank , located directly behind the diff, would create too many clearance problems. I guess I'll have to slow down to the recommended speed on those hard corners!
