Is 73-80 rearend the same with as 67-72

i know i could go and meauser it but i just dont have a 73-up rearend lay here thanks for the help

I have a 75 12 bolt under my longhorn. From what I understand , the 67-69s are a little narrower(about 1 1/2" overall). im not sure on 73 up as far as swapping axles, but the complete diff works with a little welding..... Hope that helps...crazy AL

the 73 and up are 1.5 inches longer and the shock mounts are different

Yes, you can swap the carriers & gears on the 12 bolt trucks.
