Gas Tank
CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF YOU CAN BY A KIT TO PUT THE GAS TANK UNDER THE BED ON A 68 GMC WITH LEAF SPRINGS.

i have seen flip out sidemarkers, flipdown taillites, gas door welded to the side of the body......lots of innovative ideas! If you check classic heartbeat site, there should be pics on the side marker fill..... http://www.classicheartbeat.com/mark...t_gas_door.htm

WHAT DOES THE INSTALL LOOK LIKE. IS IT TUCKED UP UNDER THE BED WHERE IT IS NOT NOTICIBLE. I LIKE THE IDEA OF IT . I JUST HAVE NOT SEEN ONE INSTALLED.

I havent installed 1 yet, but have been lookin at the kit pretty hard! From what I undersand , the tank hangs about 5-6" below the rails......does also stick up above the rails,requiring some trimming on 1 of the bed rails. Ill leave the details to the guys that have "been there" (dont want to steer you crooked!)....good luck......crazy man
