Hello, from Tennessee.

Hello, I've just joined and this is my first post, I want to start of by saying this is a great site! I've always had interest in cars, trucks, mowers, Really anything with an engine. My favorite Chevy/GMC truck is the 67'-72' model. At this time I'm looking for a 67'-72' Truck, I've not found the right one yet. I'm hoping to find one that is an automatic with no motor, (I want to put in an inline 6) Long or short bed I don't mind, I'd like a truck with a mostly there interior I don't even mind if the tail gates gone, I don't mind a mildly rusted truck, Really I'm wanting a truck to work on when I can. Now if anyone knows of a truck in the Eastern part of Tennessee like I'm wanting please let me know. Right now my funds are kinda slow, Right this minute my max would be about $300 I'm not even sure if I can find one like I'm wanting for that price? Do you guys think its possible to find what I'm wanting for around that price? Once again great site and I'm glad to be here. Adam

Re: Hello, from Tennessee.

Welcome from Northeast,Tn.(Bristol area). You can find trucks in that price range, but be prepared to do alot of rust repair.

Re: Hello, from Tennessee.

Well.....is the 70 an auto? If it is what would you have to have out of it? Not only that but if it had a V8 in it you could keep it if I would get the truck cheaper. Thats if you wanna do it that way.

Re: Hello, from Tennessee.

Just wanted everyone to know I've found a few trucks and I don't even know if they are for sale or not. But I know they need a LOT of work. I don't mind to do some body work but I don't really want to start with a frame and maybe half of a body. lol So I'm still on the "Hunt".

Too bad we didn't meet years ago, I have sold 3 trucks and
2 blazers in the 3 years and the highest one went for $1200.

Re: Hello, from Tennessee.

I know I'm replying to the same topic I started before but I didn't see a need to start a new one. I wanted to let everyone know that my budget for a Trucks has moved up to a little over $500. So if anyone knows of one for that price near me please let me know.

Re: Hello, from Tennessee.

Well that should get you a decent starter. Just keep your eyes open one will turn up. Keep an eye in the classifieds.
