valve spring question
i just got done regasketing a goodwrench 350 and i also added a new cam and valve springs. the springs are unused and are off of a set of world product s/r heads which are rated at .560 lift. is this spring too stiff for my application (im using the .420/.442 summit cam). would these spring damage the cam? i figure it wouldnt because s/r heads are supposed to replace factory heads. what do yall think?

You need to identify the spring rate, coil bind, open pressure and closed pressure - take this information and compare it to your cam card - that is the only way to know for sure
