1966 bagged burban brake issues

I have a 1966 suburban. It is bagged w/ 73-87 drop spindles calipers and rotors. My problem is how the brake line tucks up under the top control arm. The bolt connection on the caliper is on a 45 degree towards the front of the truck w/ the hard line mount back towards the back of the top bag mount on the cross member. So when the air is out it tucks under the control arm leaving it there after it is raised back looking like the brake line is in a bind. Anybody have any ideas????

I would re route the lines in a safer spot. Its all fun and games until you cant stop.

Oh and from OKC!

You may get a better responce in the 60-66 or suspension side.

Re: 1966 bagged burban brake issues

That was the plan to do some kind of re-route but wanted to see what or if someone else had a similar problem.

Maybe put in the suspension area and post a couple of pics, you never know someone may have the same problem.

Re: 1966 bagged burban brake issues

to the board from Mid-MO!!!

As you have found out, this place will become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more.

And as mentioned above, try posting your question in other parts of the board for a better response. (60-66 and the Suspension forums)

Best of luck!
