Best reference manual

Anybody have recommendations on the best reference/service manuals to have on hand?

I own the Haynes Repair Manual (Chevy & GMC P/U's 1967-1987) and the 1970 Chevrolet Truck Chassis Service Manual (series 10-60).

I've found the Haynes manual to be more helpful than the Chevy Service manual, but both can be a bit lacking on information sometimes. Is there something out there with some good 'How-to's' for do-it-yourselfers?

Thanks,
Adam

Sorry Tx Firefighter, but every time I read one of your posts I hear Diedrich Bader doing Lawrence's voice. Is this the manual you're referring to?

Might pick up a LMC catalog.Their parts are usually higher than our BB vendors but they have some great IPB's(illustrated Parts Breakdowns)

Thanks, PanelDeland. Actually I'm on their mailing list and their store is a 10 min. drive from my house. And yes, those diagrams have come in very handy. Although they may be a bit pricey, with full day Saturday and Sunday hours, it's very nice to have them so close.
