I just located...

another 71 or 72 burb,it is 2wd,it has some chrome trim like I havent seen before (I think, I didnt have a lot of time to look) but it does have a factory tach, and some of the most beautiful original seats I have seen, black in color. painted yellow and white in really decent condition.although somebody CUT approx A 12x12 chunk out of the roof for vent purposes. the plastic vent has since rotted away and is laying in the back. Did they only put factory tachs is BB vehicles or what? I will buy it if I can.

Re: I just located...

what kind of trim are you talking about?
It may be stock and you've enver seen it, but it could be something added over the last 40 years.
Any engine could have the tach option with it, either inline, any of the 4 small blocks or 2 big blocks, and in the bigger trucks the diesels could get the tach too, but it wasn't like the light duty electric tachs.

Re: I just located...

I looked at it a little closer again,It is a 3/4 ton 2500 custom deluxe. It was originally a 396, now a 350. I ran the #s on the engine, because the current owner told me "it is a 327" but for some reason had an egr port on the intake, HEI,later model flat valve covers, and other odd things for a 327.anyway it does have a factory tach chrome trim under the windows that is about an inch and a half wide that runs around the truck from front door to front door.It also has the trim on the lower part of the doors, ect. The front seat is not too good the back seat IS. Two seat burb. tailgate and lift door. a few dents no rust too speak of.it is for sale the man wants 700.00. it needs dist installed new gas and battery, and he says it will drive.oh it is an auto tranny.
