project "over the hill" beater rat

ive been bugging a friend and his dad for over 3 years to sell me this truck, and they finally decided to let her go with out the boom motor and tranny and im totaly digging it
this truck has alot of history its a 67 c20 that was ordered by a small town as a wrecker, it worked for a long time til the original v8 died and it was sold to a scrap yard that quickly threw in an old i6 and worked her hard, that is when my friends dad first met the truck as a boy when he worked for the scrap yard, years later he made a trade with them for the truck, he put in a new running i6 and its been worked on and off till about a month ago when it was sold to me
we started by pulling out the boom and the motor and tranny and cleaning all the junk out of it

the plan is to do a supper cheap build im only using parts that i have from other trucks that i have or am parting out, the heart is a 350 from my 69 c30 campter that im parting out, the tranny is a th350 out of my 68 c20 that i parted out, the c20 also donated or will be donating the auto tranny crossmember, the driveshaft, the floor, the whole front suspension crossmember and brakes, grille trim, the letter R, hood latch, the roof (which will be choped 4 inches on the 67) and i would like to chop the coils to drop the truck but i may slpurge and just buy some drop stuff and do it all right
the tail lights and tailgate are going to be coming from a 72 gmc im picking up in a couple weeks that will be donating any parts it can to my trucks and anyone elses for that matter
ill update this occasionaly but it will be a very fast and sporadic build
