Re: How many one owner trucks

I can't imagine there being many, if at all. 43 years is a long time. I'm the 4th owner on my 64.

Re: How many one owner trucks

Mine was purchased by a neighbor of my grandpa. Grandpa bought it from him a few months later as the guy wanted the 327 option. It has stayed in the family since....to my dad then me. I am 52 and rode in the front and back many times as a kid.

Re: How many one owner trucks

How about this one. I bought my
1966 C20 from the original owner's
estate three years ago. He was apparently very meticulous,
bordering on anal, So my '66 Custom
Cab is stock, stock,stock.

My Dad bought my 65 new. So I have been riding in it since it was new but he gave it to me a couple of years ago.

Re: How many one owner trucks

Some very cool stories! My truck is far from a one owner truck. It has been in the family since the early 70's. My first cousin bought it in about '73, (he converted it to a '73 subframe- '72 rearend, 5 lug wheels, ps, pb in about '78) it went to my uncle in about 1979, my brother, Jimmy, got it in 1980, had until late 2000 when I got it from him...and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it...so I may not be the 1st owner, but I'm definitely the last!

Chav, are you saying when you pass away, you're going to have the truck crushed?
