Great patina on it. Dosen't look to banged up. get rid of the rollbar. Lower it. Running truck? Custom package, GMC Air conditioning What else does this have?

Re: 1966 c10

thats probably a decent deal.. check it over real good.

I would love to see what kind of situation they thought needed a roll bar for a 2wd short fleet

Maybe they lay materials on it that they get from the local diy store. Don't want to dent up the cab.. Looks like a nice solid truck. I say if you like it it would be a good deal. But like mentioned above.. Look it over real good..

Yeah - not a bad little truck. Just make sure you eyeball it real good and check the frame for any unusual wreck damage.

That looks like the Schertz/Cibolo area.

Re: 1966 c10

getting the 66 GMC for $1100. Another thing I some how forgot to add the old guy who owns it used to be a hot rodder just like every one on here. As me, him, and my uncle are talkin shooting the breeze in the driveway I mention how i want a big family soon and need to find a family vechile in the next 2 yrs while im still in college............(this is where it gets good) He pops open the garage and there sits a 69 suburban it all origional and motor needs work but he sais he wants it gone. At this point I pretty much couldnt hardly wipe the grin offf my face and start counting dollars in my head he says if i take both he will give them together for 1500...... I guess old guys do rule sorry no pics right now will post them up if i decede to bite on both of them...

Re: 1966 c10

You guys kill me with this what do ya think stuff. For 1500 you get a body with no frame or a truck completely disassembled in the Phoenix area. I would buy that truck and drive it like I stole it from MacAttack's driveway.

Re: 1966 c10

quick question and before you say use the search button i did no luck. I know i can use the crossmember and such off of an 80 body style but will the rear end of of the sam truck fit fine also the truck i bought has leaf springs so i would think it would be a fairly easy swap. The reason i ask is because i want power steering and brakes and my be able to get everything to swap it pretty cheap.....
