chopped cross member for sale
I am selling two chopped crossmembers. the first one is chopped 1.5 and the second is 2 inches. they have been blasted and painted with chassis black. I am in Pensacola FL. I am asking $450, if you have any questions just ask.

I am still trying to get the rear done, so I can see if i got money left to buy your xmember...the truck is killing me...LOL
you can see in the pic I am still putting it together from painting it. Hope to know this weekend if I can swing it.

well im on my third truck of the year so I can relate. I think I found the winner though.. just got a 68 burb! Now to figure out if I am keeping the 66 or what the heck I am going to do with it. LOL. Its a sickness.

engine stays in the same spot so it is not affected at all. It raises the cross member up into the frame rails thus raising the LCA's up 2 inches so that we can drop the truck 2 inches lower before you hit the ground.

How well does the steering go back together when doing this? I was thinking about chopping mine but that's the one worry I have. Do you have aany pics of one installed?

well your moving some of the mounting points up so you have to adjust for that. I dont have pics of this one bc it was never installed. if you do a search on the susp forum you will see a bunch of guys that have done it. Good luck with your build.
