Console Ideas for the front

I want to build a custom wood center console for the front of the suburban.
You know, cup holders etc.
I have looked around and the plastic ones offered commercially suck.

Has anyone seen some plans for one or is it just go with the flow type of thing?

Re: Console Ideas for the front

there are some you can look at in different catalogs....then just copy them in wood.....1/2 in plywood for sides ....then fiberglass and paint to match
