Ford Rims?- See Pic

Hi
I have a restored (not by me or someone I know) 1950 GMC 3/4 ton. It does not have a spare tire and I have been looking for one 16" rim but have had trouble finding one that matches.

Sweet70beast has been helping me with his stash and says he thinks they area actually Ford rims. Can anyone confirm that and point me in the right direction ie year model etc I should be looking for

Here is a picture of my rim

Here is a picture of 16.5" rims on Sweet70beast friends' Lincoln
Except for the difference in bolt hole numbers they seem to match pretty nicely.
Can anyone help me identify these?
Thanks
Carl

I could be wrong but F-450 is should be only available in dual rear wheel setup. If it's a Ford rim it will have the Ford logo stamped in it. Look for a Ford 3/4 ton truck pre 1999 as Superduty wheels (1999- present) are hub centering rather than lug nut centering. Ford 3/4 ton vans or E- series used those wheels for a few more years. I'll post some pics in awhile of some. Hope it helps.

1999 actually sounds right, and I was thinking the front wheels, as most box trucks ive seen are indeed dually rear but this one was actually a single rear. weird huh? I dont see why a pre 99 ford cargo van wouldnt have these wheels.

Yeah that is weird I've never heard of a single rear wheel 450. Well here is a pic of a 1995 F-250 wheel. It doesn't look like your pic. I'm thinking that may be a Dodge wheel? Accuride makes the ford wheels http://www.accuridewheels.com/completeversion.pdf you may be able to look here to narrow your search.

I have some early 90s Dodge wheels and his don't look like them. These Dodge rims have a Chrysler Diamond logo on them down by the lug holes. The one's on the 65 Lincoln look just like his but I didn't look close enough at them to see if there is a Ford logo on them, I check next time I head to the shop.

Carl,

If you haven't found a wheel yet, there is a guy in the Phoenix, Az area that might have what your looking for. His name is Dennis and he's advertising on Craigslist a pair of 16X7 8 lug OEM Ford wheels for $25.00. His photo looks like the style of wheel mounted on your truck. His ad say he will only respond to calls no emails. Dennis' number is 480-250-6898. Good luck.

Did you ever find a rim?

We got a couple of excess military trailers a work and I looked at the tires and rims today and they look identical to me. I still don't have a clue who makes them but maybe an Army Surplus store might be able to get one.

BTW they are 16 inch.

Thanks to all- Sweet70Beast. I think you may have found the right source. I did locate a small stamped logo which was Rockwell-Collins! Sounds military to me.

I ended up purchasing a new wheel from an outfit in California.
