sold my 2000 serria 4x4 and upgraded to a 1 ton, silverado 4x4, diesel, long box, loaded to the gills. im pretty happy about the new truck.. i pick it up monday. heres a pic of my 2000 and a cell pic of the new one.

can anyone tell me if the 1 ton has a lift?? the tires on there are 265-70-17's
it sure looks like a lift but im not sure.

I can't tell, but it looks like the previous owner put the wrong tires on it. I've got a 3/4 ton and just replaced the tires with the correct ones. The new tires do a much better job of filling the wheel wells.

i have the build sheet here and the tires that it came with were 265-75-16r

It looks like it has a leveling kit on it. I would change the tires out for some 285/70/17 on the current rims. I run that size on a set of h2 rims and they look great ( in my opinion)

That blazer is awesome. I'll check the tires on the 3/4 ton suburban to see what size they are. The guy at the tire store told us that 3/4 tons must have a certain type of tire. When we bought the suburban it had smaller tires on it and the wheel openings were barely filled. I do like the truck. Of course, it's a Chevy.

haha VA your on to me. yes it need a big as& camper..the ones with the slides and a 18-20 foot speed boat.. all in due time my friend. its only money right!! cant take it to my grave.

turnns out it has a 4 inch rancho lift.

I agree with DANTES JIMMY. If you look at the gap between the front bumper and grill, there is less space than a factory setup. That's usually indicative of a body lift with a bumper relocation kit... nice truck though!
