it's a factory rearend in a 68 suburban .everything looked good and tight when i took the cover off for a pic. thats all i know about it.

So I assume this would be a narrow rear then being it was in a 68? Were the suburbans narrower like the trucks were until sometime in 70?

suburban rear end is same as truck 67 68 69..the 70 rear end is wider..same width as 71-72 housings.

will bolt in a 70 ,just a little narrower..great for wide tires too.

even fits the 65 and 66 trucks , direct bolt in..try over there bill..

Hollider interchange says 65 thru 69 12 bolt with rear coils. 1/2 ton 2wd

This is rear coil spring also.
