Post Tail Light Trouble

Hello there, when im driving during the day and i hit the brakes both tail lights come on , now when i drive at night and i have the lights on and hit the brake the passenger light goes out, but the driver is fine.

what can i do to fix??

Sounds like a ground problem to me.
