Due to some very crappy circumstances I may need to sell the 86. It's not perfect by any means but you all know how much time, money, etc I have in this truck. It has a 2006 80K mile 6.0/4l80e swapped in. 'Burb cluster, blasted and painted chassis, totally new suspension, new fuel system, new 3 inch exhaust, etc, etc... Just looking for a HONEST estimate of what I should ask. If I need to sell it I will price it accordingly and see what happens. Need some honest input from people who know what is involved in taking a truck this far down and rebuilding it. Please feel free to read my build thread if you havent already seen it if it might help you give a value estimate. Thanks guys.

Honestly, I wouldn't take less than $11-12K for it. Seems like it should bring that, even given the state of the economy.

Sorry to hear about the situation. Hope it works out for you where you can keep it and enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you do sell, I'd see if you could get around 12-15....depending if someone is looking for a truck like yours right now...

...even though I know you have A LOT more in it....

damn Josh... what happened?? give me a call bro. in my honest opinion i'd take 10k man. i know how much u have into it and what it takes to build it. and we all know you will take a loss but i'm sure you can get a solid 10 for it. good luck bro with what ever happens

Sorry to hear about the unfortuante circumstance. Hope all works out. As far as price goes, I assume the new Coys aren't included? I'm thinking somewhere between $8-$10K for a quick sale and $12-$14K if your willing to wait on the right buyer. Around here, it would take forever to sell for close to what you have in it. Maybe on the east, west coast or up north where they rust like crazy.

I agree with Mike,
Really depends on how fast you will need to move it.
I don't wanna pry, but I really hope you don't have to sell it.
Guess you could always build another and it would be better due to the learning curve.

You would probably have better luck doing this. More people are willing to buy a newer truck for what it's worth, than an older one. Hopefully things will work out where you don't have to part with either.

I hate to hear you are having some issues right now, but most of us here understand. Feel free to pm me to vent or whatever.

Maybe Stitch shouldn't have lowballed you on the CCSB.
