Not sure what your looking for exactly My tbh 350, I just adjust the linkage.

Course I'm not to savvy with the 700r4, maybe I'll learn too.

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

This one is for Eddy carbs

and this for Holley's

and I use one of these along with a G.M. 87 throttle cable for 700r4 trans. works perfect but I did add some xtra holes in bracket to get it closer to carb. for trans. cable. It was probably un-necessary I don't remember.

CPTSL linkage kit from CPP. Installed one on an 86swb and it works nicely!

Well to make the column shifter shift smoothly. And also an indicator showing all the gears. I looked at shiftworks and they sell an adjustable bracket to help fine tune the locations. But no indicator for the pickup trucks.

I used the shift indicator out of a later model truck, it is held to the cluster with two screws. You can loosen the bolt at the bottom of the shift linkage to adjust it. I didn't really worry too terribly much about it, as I rarely ever needed to hold first gear.

On my 84, I just changed out the plastic indicator and made an adjustment of the lever to the linkage and away we went. worked fine, until I got tired of the column shifter and went to a floor shifter. That way I could not hit reverse at 60 MPH.
