Help! I need some pics of seat brackets please.

Hey all,
I need to get the 2nd and 3rd row seats installed ASAP in the burb. I am not sure how it was originally configured, but I think it was with a third row. However I'm putting a full size second row in, and a third row seat. So obviously the second row brackets don't line up with the full size seat, but they don't seem to line up with the shorter seat either. The third row seat doesn't seem to line up with the holes for the third row either. I'm thinking I've got brackets either backwards or something. Can anyone show me what the stock bracket placement is and what they look like? The full size second row I have has all the rear brackets facing the same way( think all left side brackets). Where as the third row seat I have has an obvious left and right rear brackets. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Help! I need some pics of seat brackets please.

Hope this helps. This is from a 72 - factory three row. I'd like to know how it works out. I'd like to have a wide 2nd row and just let the kids climb over for the third row. The small 2nd row really isn't that big - really only good for 2.

Also the opposite side bracket face out the opposite way...so for the middle row the bolts are each on the middle of the seat side and the "hook" faces out.

Awesome! Thanks for the pics! It looks like I may have some bracket issues.I have two " short seats" neither of which looks like it has the correct taller rear brackets. Both have the shorter brackets. i can only assume they are both second row seats. My "wide" second row seat also has 4 short brackets, that match the other two seat brackets, but all facing the same direction.

Re: Help! I need some pics of seat brackets please.

Happy to help. seeing your photos I see a few other difference - that may help - that aren't in my photos:

1) My 2nd row back bracket bolt is set off center - the seat belt bolt is in the center and the bolt to the floor is towards the outside for the truck. It looks like YOUR 3rd row is using 2nd row brackets. (I do show a photo of my 3rd row back bracket above...those are centered - seat belt and floor bolts line up). Looks like you have 2nd row back brackets on the 3rd row.

2) Mine is only secured by brackets on the out side corners of the seats - the two other bolts in the middle are just for seat belts...no support bracket. Your photo shows the 3rd and 2nd seats with 4 brackets across the back. On mine the middle two just have a single bolt to the floor with the seat belts attached.

Sorry...I see your third row only has two on the back...but the wrong type -- see my photo for third row back bracket type.

Re: Help! I need some pics of seat brackets please.

So then my next question is what brackets are on the front of the third row seat? It looks like your third row has front brackets that are similar to the second row front brackets, only shorter. I can make the rear brackets work on the second row ( using the third row rear brackets) but still don't have the third row rear brackets, or even possibly the third row front brackets if what I have isn't correct. Also some other pictures of second row seats that are wide that I have found have 4 brackets ( like mine) in the rear, but the two right ones face the other way. I'm soo confused!!!!!

...I've mislabeled my second photo down - that is the third row FRONT bracket. both the 3rd and 2nd have that piping on the front.

Re: Help! I need some pics of seat brackets please.

I can post pics of mine too. I also made a seat belt bracket for the third row seat as a work around for the two center belts (due to gas tank in way of accessing the bolts). It turned out clean and was inexpensive. Let me know if you need more pics and I will take some over the weekend.
