Tachometer question

So I put a 6.2 diesel in my truck (the 350 found a new home), and my truck has a factory tachometer in the dash. It's a 75 GMC. Is there any way I can use the factory tach with the diesel engine? I'd love to be able to.

Re: Tachometer question

You will have to buy a special "diesel tach" with a signal transducer. Others may chime in, but I've read this is the easiest way.

Re: Tachometer question

Hmm... crap. I was really hoping to be able to use my in-dash tach.
