My First Truck Build

I bought a 1977 SWB C10

No power steering No Power brakes 305 3 speed big ugly wheels and white bumpers

I thought I knwe exactly what I was going to do to this truck BUT after reading this forum well WOW my mind is running 100 mph of things to do

I will keep posted as I go any advise would be nice

Some stuff for the engine my son and I put in a bigger Cam , Intake ,Carb,valve covers and Headers just a little to start

Engine has good compression Cam shaft sound real nice I love a lopey sound
Also put 2 1/2 exhaust with Flowmasters 40 series Sound Good

Looks like a great project, keep up the work and the pictures! I dont think that i have ever seen a truck that new with out power brakes before. When was that option no longer available?

Well have been real busy with truck here is what we did

LOWERED FRONT 2" BACK 4"

BOUGHT A REAR ROLL PAN AND TAILIGHT FILLERS

SHAVED DRIP RAIL , MOLDING, FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHTS ,BED STAKE POCKETS,GAS TANK CAP,DOOR LOCKS, AND FILLED IN TAILGATE AND MOVED HANDLE TO INSIDE.

What are you going to use for side marker lights? The law in Ga. says you must have them!!!! It looks better without them!!! Keep up the good work!!!

i will not need an inspection after next year any way i do still have front turn signals

Found a fellow that makes LED lights I am going to put them in roll pan

they are on there way hope to get them today here are some pics and his website
I got the 14" set they were like $100.00 shipped
