Just curious,... why aren't you using it?
I was looking at them for one of my trucks,... and wondered if they were worth the money?

The application chart on Summit's website says this is for a 4wd application.
(part #244451)
Is this correct?

Re: AGR steering box for GM trucks *new* 12.1 quick ratio

Adam pm's sent

Keith, draggin86 had this box on his truck all bolted up just not hooked up to the lines or motor. everything bolted right up on his 86. i'm double checking the part numbers now. Mr. money bags went with the porterbuilt drop member and gave the box to me in trade. i'm keeping my brand new stock one in place on mine since i cannot return it. (its not worth it to me to swap them out) and i need money for cai and exhaust

You are correct.
But AGR's website says all 80-87 pickup and 80-91 suburban/ blazer.
With this description:

This steering box is engineered to be the ultimate in bolt-on power steering performance for those vehicles used for more off-road than on road driving. Designed to be the most powerful and nimble steering with the least amount of effort, the SB1 features the largest piston available and a special spool valve to increase turning force. Total Bearing Control locks in the sector shaft for smooth steering. This box combined with an AGR Super Pump will provide the maximum available turning force in a steering box combination. Want more power than this? You'll need to step up to the AGR ROCKRAM* System. Short wheel-base Jeep CJ's, TJ's and similar sized vehicles should consider the SB2 box if driven at highway speeds.

GREAT buy for someone!!!

I'm new to the list and came on here looking for a faster ratio steering box, I'll take it. Do you use Paypal? Send you a bank check or what? Let me know!

I'm so new, I don't even know how to use the signature function. If you want to help with that, I'd appreciate that also.....lol

Re: AGR steering box for GM trucks *new* 12.1 quick ratio

Greetings Dennis, I posted the number you gave me with USPS and they replied that they had been electronically notifed of shipment, but no mention of the actual package. Is there any way you can check on it, it's been three weeks. Thanks,

Hi Billy, it's been four weeks, USPS still says they have only been electronically notified of the shipment. Have you found out anything yet?

Thanks,

Re: AGR steering box for GM trucks *new* 12.1 quick ratio

this is Dennis man... Billy sent a reply but i guess it didn't get forwarded to you. he has filed a claim with the USPS. your gear box was insured for $270. let me copy and paste the info he sent to me about it. one way or another you will be taken care of. i'm not happy about this along with the crappy communication with the post office. i'd be pretty pissed if i were in your shoes also. and i have been before its getting resolved. if you have questions or feel you need to talk to me or Billy call me at 916-879-2442. i have been off the board for a little while. sorry it took so long for a response.

I appreciate the info and quick reply. I was begining to think I had been hung out to dry. I'd appreciate my payment returned ASAP, so I can get another box on order. I'll probably just get a rebuild from Rehead. Is your business building custom trucks or what?

Thanks

Re: AGR steering box for GM trucks *new* 12.1 quick ratio

Ok so I went into the post office that I shipped the package from. They told me that the package was shipped and that you need to check your local post office that delivers your mail, and see if the package is there. They explained that the package might be there and they might of just forgot to scan it into the system, which in turn wouldn't get delivered to your home. I have already submitted a claim with USPS so Once we figure out if the package is lost or just hasn't been delivered, I will make sure the package gets to you promptly or give you a complete refund. I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
