Re: let's see you're home made bed covers

Does anyone know a good source for outdoor vinyl? My truck is royal blue and white and I don't know how black or white vinyl would look. I've heard bad things about dying vinyl for outdoor use. Any ideas for royal blue outdoor vinyl?

Thanks, I'm sure it could be done for less than $100. It weighs around 90lbs. If I made another one it would be the same.

your local fabric store can get you some. ask for "marine grade canvas". Preferably "Sunbrella" it is water resistant and breathable. it is used to keep the weather off boats all the time it works great and will last 10-15 years in heavy sun and minimal maintanance. if you take care of it, it will last 20-25 years. it isn't cheap but it works real well and comes in ALOT of colors

I have it on my boat and even in the heavyest of rain it stays dry on the inside and when we have high winds (70mph+) it dosent seam to bother it
