Re: Need help on presets

It has been years since I hooked up a radio, but I think the yellow needs to be a constant hot, and the red a switched hot. Is there any kind of wiring guide on the radio?

Re: Need help on presets

One will need to be switched and the other constant, otherwise you have to install a switch to turn the radio off and you will lose your setting every time.

Re: Need help on presets

the yellow (memory power+) needs a non switched power
you can run it back to the fuse panel, or just splice into the cig lighter..
