Today instead of worrying about things I can't seem to repair without needing lots of wonga, I decided to undertake a repair to the bent end panel of the bed (directly behind the cab) I had always believed that that when it was removed I could drive the Truck onto it and straighten it out....and it worked!!!

Now this is a DD and as such has scratches and rust and wot not so laying out body panels to drive on was not to much of a concern, when I start my frame off and join the lucky ranks of those with a build thread things will be done a little differently.

It's not perfect, but it's a darn sight better....

Nice job. Works with tailgates also. (if you have a good floor jack) Put a block of wood under each corner. Gently lower the truck onto the high spot and remember, you will probably have to bend it past straight to come back to straight.

Ahhh! I hadn't thought of doing it that way Eric, and yes my tailgate is bad...cheers mate.

Nice tip. I have been trying to figure out how to fix my otherwise pretty decent core support. The driver side is a bit tweaked out. I bet a few seconds under a wheel will straighten that sucker out.
