I saw those too. Wasn't impressed with the look of the gauge pod. The thing looks like a poor fiberglass job. The gauges don't look right either. I like the tach though. Too bad they don't sell just the 7k tach.

I guess you could have a spare fuel gauge face re-screened for 7k range to look like that and fit it with a third gen F-body tach guts.

I worked on making a revised face for the F-body tach with integral oil pressure gauge to match the truck look but hadn't thought about putting the guts into a truck fuel gauge face so it would bolt right in.

If I had the stuff to screen print this would be an easy job. In the pic I had not clear coated the overlay yet so the gloss is off.

I messed around with making a stock looking tach overlay but ended up liking the look better with a larger single digit number system like the large aftermarket tach's use.

Now I am starting over to make this stuff work on a 67-72 cluster.

Re: justdashes.com tach conversion upgrades

The kit shown looks nice, but makes no provision for a factory clock. I wonder if they have one for that application. It looks like fitting a factory tach in is still the best bet. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

Re: justdashes.com tach conversion upgrades

The tach looks good but the gauges are real cheesey looking pieces. Factory is still the best bet.
