1968 V8 307 with what looks to be CA emission EQ.

I have a 68 C10 with a 307 V8 three speed. I figured I would see what the engine is worth with the California Emission items still attatched.

My current plan is to strip the 68 it is in and junk the rotted out bed and cab.

The engine has be a bit confused as it is a 307 and a Three OTT. Not sure what to do with it.

Unknown running condition. Last inspection on truck was 1984 unknown when it actually last ran. I was able to turn the engine over by hand.

Please see photos.

THanks,
Thomas

Here is a hot one!!!! 307 WAH HOO!!!!!

Folks are beading down my door to get this one. Almost as fast as they did on that 305 V6....

I may not even take the time to pull it and just junk it as it is.

Around here it would not be worth much at all. I would part out the desirable stuff like the alt. brackets, ram horns and maybe the carb. I would put the rest of it on Craigslist for maybe $150.00 and if you get $100.00 out of it then I would say you done well.

I guess I couldnt see the tree for the forrest. DIdnt think the smaller stuff would move but I guess your right.

I keep forgetting that I have 200 acres and a 1900 Sq ft barn to keep stuff like this in. Makes bulk storage possible but even that has it's limits.

THanks again,

Thomas
