I started with With Chevy duty but the guys I talked to more tha likely drove Ricers.... I have had much better luck with Wes,Paul, and Frank and of course the guys here I have got parts from. I dont like the production guys that dont have a clue about our trucks...My 2 cents

Yah I found them to be that way when I was at Chevy Duty, or at least the sales guy I had. I was asking him about parts for these trucks and he has like he never seen one before. Still a cool place though and good(repo) parts

eesh, yall are scaring me. I was considering buying chevy duty's brake kit in the back of their catalog. True, I haven't gotten a new one since I orderd this one in september, but.. I haven't bought anything from them yet either.

if GMCpaul has a paper catalog thatd be great, I find that I'm less likley to buy from a place where I can't get in some bathroom catalog browsing

If you have a long cable and a lap top, you can look through his site while on the can. He and Wess both have on-line only(as faras I know they have not printed a catalog yet) and they both ave a very good following on this board.
I have only dealt with wess myself, and was rather impressed.

GMCPaul & WES (Classic Heartbeat)...
I have dealt from both Paul and Wes and I will say both are CLASS ACTS...They know their trucks and they can both be trusted. About 99% of all the parts I have bought to fix up my 70cst are being bought from either Paul or Wes. They are price competitive compared to most other places and lower on many items yet the products they sell are quality parts. Hey...Wes and Paul...Do I get a hat yet? HEHEHE.
I'm sure there are other good suppliers but these are the two I have got to know and why change when your satisfied. They also both have a nice web page. And no I'm not related to either...But then again I can be bought! HEHEHE. That's enough from me. Just my .0002 cents worth.
Remember: Anyone can drive a new truck but it takes someone with class to drive a 67-72 Chevy/GMC Truck!
Regards,
Dewayne 70cst

Hey you guys don't think that if we buy from Wes or Paul AND mention that we heard of them from this message board, we could get a discount...5%, free shipping etc.

Dunno, never heard of them before so just thinkin outloud.

Um, I also bought from Chevy Duty back in early 01'... they did me fine, in fact hear this. If you want to screw with these big business boys just do what i did.
I ordered two of everything i could get my cash on. BUT I only ordered ONE of something pricey. When my package came in I got TWO of EVERYTHING! SO... I guess It was like getting that extra pricey thing for free cuz they didn't charge me for it... hehe.

It'is all about knowledge of the parts. I have gotten bunches of parts from both LMC and Chevy Duty. Since joining this board, and finding GMC Paul, I learned more from ONE web site visit, and ONE e-mail to GMC Paul than the other two referenced above on several of each. You know where my business is headed. My $.02

I've gotten stuff from Chevy Duty, LMC, GMC Paul, Classic ( WES ) and have always been satisfied. I think the competition is great for all of us looking for parts.
The only one I ever disliked was Golden State Pickup Parts and I think they must be tits up. ( thank God

Well, I haven't had any problems with them.
It takes about 3-4 days till I get my stuff and I live in the Netherlands.
Last order was rockerpanels and cabcorners, same deal, within 4 days with UPS.
Maybe I'm spending so much money on my truck, they don't need your money anymore,LOL

I've also had good luck with Manes Truck parts [(816) 358-1939 for a catalog and www.manestruckparts.com coming soon hopefully]. Knowledgeable people to talk to and reasonable prices compared to Paul, Wes, etc. But mainly they're who I turn to when someone else says the part I need is out-of-stock or backordered -- Manes always seems to be able to find it for me fast.
