Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

I have a complete set of frame brackets for the exhaust for a big block. Rubber is complete but cracked. Brackets are fairly clean but will need a repaint of course. Came off my 72 super w/ a 402.

I also am contemplating putting a complete big block package together to include:

The exhaust frame brackets
Heat shield nice!
Restored exhaust manifolds
TH400 linkage
BB motor mounts with rubber and clams (69-71 w/new rubber or 72)
BB ps setup w/ reservoir and lines
BB pulleys
BB a/c brackets (72)
BB alt brackets (72)
BB heat riser setup and air cleaner
2wd High hump

How much for just the exhaust mounts and how much for a complete package???

Re: Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

Do you have pics of the dual exhaust brackets? I believe the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton were different...or is it leaf sprung/coil sprung were different?? Either way, I have seen two different styles of the brackets on BBC trucks.

Re: Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

It was a 1/2 ton chevy with the leaf spring option.

Here's the muffler hangers (dusty at the time)

This shows the pipe hangers at the rear. There are other hangers also...

I think around $100 or so? I believe Sharpie sold some a while back that were that style. Love the Grateful Dead poster by the way

Re: Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

Any thought on a complete package deal for everything needed for a bb other than the BB??? I got coil spring mounts now too so I can offer this to someone with either type of truck.....

I also have a show quality rebuilt and restored correct 72 coded carb I can sell separate or include as part of the package....

Re: Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

I don't think there's a difference between the BB exhaust hangers and SB hangers. My '72 GMC shorty has those hangers and so does my '72 Blazer and both have 350's originally and have the original mounts still.

Not sure on a complete kit price, depends on your area I guess. $500+ Some guys are willing to pay big bucks. I've seen kits go for $200 though, if they are original condition and not cleaned up. Higher if everything is cleaned, painted and ready for install.

Re: Big block exhaust brackets and big block package???

I guess I'll be the guinea pig selling a complete set on ebay...I'll put a reserve I'm comfortable with...but it'll be more than 500...

it might end up that I'll get more parting it all out individually....
