ECE drop kit

how is the overall ride and handling characteristics? i'm just afraid that i'll spend my 900 bucks on the kit and have a crappy ride

i wanna do the 3.5/5 drop, i understand it won't handle like the hotchkis truck but i think it should handle decent.

so any overall comments, thoughts, feelings, or suggestions?

Re: ECE drop kit

I have never used Early Classic Enterprises, but I have always heard great things about their product.

NO CRAPPY ride from ECE products.
They are my choice for 67-72 lowering products.

Re: ECE drop kit

No compl;aints whatsoever from any ECE product I'ver ever bought. No crappy ride at all with my 3.5/5 kit.

Also, their customer support after the sale is unmatched. The guys at ECE will go out of their way to make sure you're happy.

Re: ECE drop kit

I installed an ECE drop kit on my previous 72 & was pleased with the parts of the kit & the ride quality when finished.

Re: ECE drop kit

You will NOT have a crappy ride provided the parts are installed correctly.

When we installed a 4.5/6" drop on my '69 (w/ disc brake upgrade) my FIL was worried that the ride would cause him to be unable to ride with me due to a bad back. Once the drop was installed he felt as though the truck rode better than it did prior to lowering.

Buy and you won't regret it, guaranteed!

Follow the complete install my my kit by clicking on "Project Blank Slate" below in my signature and let me know if you have any questions.

It's the only kit I would buy.

If you don't mind me asking, which kit are you looking at for $900? I've priced sooo many kits lately that I've about confused myself but I'm sure I haven't found any around the $900 range even from ECE?

PM me if you would rather? Thanks
