What all needs to be changed on a 72 c10 lwb to go to bucket seats? (besides the seats of course) :P

Don't mean to be a smart a$$ but are you talking about the OE buckets that were originally installed in trucks? If so, it's really a matter of drilling holes to bolt the seats and console down. You should also reenforce the floor where you bolt it with a large washer or such. When I did this I used the outboard front hole used by the bench brackets as a guide and marked and drilled from there. The bucket brackets are shorter than the bench ones so you need to drill for the inner front and the inner and outer rear holes on these brackets.

CPNE implied, but didn't say outright that you'll also need the seat BRACKETS.

so basically its just bolting brackets to floor, drill a few holes and pop them in?

Yep, but you wanna make sure the drivers side is lined up with the steering wheel. I am not being a smartass I made the mistake of being about an inch off after I drilled the holes, I now have an extra set of holes

If you are talking about the stock buckets and console that came in these trucks... yep. If you are talking about using buckets from something else, it gets to be a little more fun. I installed these buy just drilling a few holes and bolting them down.

i still think the 99 chevy truck seats are the best buckets out there. Not only do they fit nicely but they have built in sholder straps. ive got pics posted in here somewhere of them.

I am currently installing s-10 seats in my '67. Well i will be when i figure out how i'm going to mount them. They are mounted currently through wood blocks so i know how high i should make the brackets but i don't really know where to go from there. Has anybody done this, has any ideas?

Tom , are your seats the same has the low back buckets used in the 73 + blazers ?

i just got my truck monday but my buckets were attached to pieces of wood. cheap ass way. my truck is in pretty bad shape though.
