Paint

I finally found a fender to replace the one on our '58 Viking 60. I would now like to shoot some paint on it. On the tag in the door jam, it lists the paint code as 747A. Can I take this paint code to a body shop or a NAPA (Never Any Parts Available) and get the original color paint? I'm not doing a restoration, I just want to protect it.

Re: Paint

Whoops. That's a typo. It's 707A.

Dawn blue

This one should take you to the right page.

http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...GM&model=Truck

I think the local dealer must have sold a couple hundred of them that color as it is the color you usually see on those trucks that are still working on the farms and ranches around here.

Re: Paint

The one on our '58 is right above the bottom drivers door hinge. I will get some pictures.
